Reducing Static Electricity with Humidity Control
Humidity control can reduce static problems, but the layout must support stable RH in the working area.
Setpoint
Confirm the RH range required by the process. Too low may not solve static issues, while too high can affect materials or equipment.
Air distribution
Mist should mix into the room air instead of hitting machines or products directly.
Control feedback
Use sensors in the working zone. A sensor near the outlet will cause wrong control decisions.
Project note: For anti-static projects, provide workshop size, process type, current RH, target RH and ventilation condition.
