Waterproof modules are used where splash, humidity or tank-side installation may expose the module to water.
It protects the module body against water exposure under specified conditions. It does not mean the whole system can ignore sealing or cable protection.
The connector and cable exit still need proper routing. Water should not collect around electrical connections.
Even waterproof modules need cleaning and correct water quality. Waterproofing does not prevent scale.
Project note: For wet installations, confirm water depth, mounting position, cable route and driver location together.
