Why industrial buyers ask for IP67 waterproof mist maker modules and how housing protection affects reliability in real installations.
Mist maker modules live in wet environments. Splashes, condensation, water level movement, and cleaning routines all put pressure on the housing and electrical connections. That is why waterproof design matters much more in industrial use than in light-duty demonstration setups.
An IP67-rated module is usually preferred when the buyer wants a more robust enclosure and better resistance to water ingress in normal operating conditions. It is especially relevant in greenhouse tanks, mushroom systems, and enclosed humidification assemblies where moisture exposure is constant.
A waterproof module still needs a good system around it. Poor cable routing, unstable water level, contaminated water, and heat buildup can still shorten service life. Waterproof design helps reliability, but it is not a substitute for proper engineering.
