Paper curl, dimensional change and static do not depend on RH alone. Paper grade, storage history, web speed, machine heat and fresh-air load all influence the result. Printing-room humidification should therefore be evaluated by material path and production zone, not only by total building area.
Place outlets where mist can mix with air without wetting paper, ink, rollers or electrical cabinets. Separate control for paper storage and active production can improve stability when their operating schedules differ.
Compact lines may use one local humidification cabinet. Wider converting areas or paper warehouses normally benefit from grouped modules and balanced outlets. Capacity should include a margin for ventilation losses, while the controller and sensor arrangement should prevent short cycling near the mist source.
