OEM Integration Notes for Ultrasonic Mist Maker Modules
Most prototype problems come from integration details around the module rather than from the atomizer itself. Water depth, driver matching, airflow, drainage and service access should be confirmed before tooling or production.
Treat the module, power supply and water control as one system
An atomizing module cannot be selected in isolation. The matched driver, cable length, connector type, water-level control and mechanical installation all affect output. Changing one part after testing can change the behaviour of the complete assembly.
Define the operating target
Write down the required mist output, visual fog effect or humidity capacity, duty cycle, voltage and control signal. “As much mist as possible” is not a useful engineering target and often leads to oversizing or poor control.
Control water depth under real conditions
Verify water level while the inlet valve is cycling, the fan is running and the tank is warm. A prototype that works only with a manually filled static tank is not ready for production.
Match the power supply correctly
Use a supply designed for the module voltage, frequency and load. Confirm start-up current, cable length and voltage at the module. Mount the driver where heat can dissipate and where connectors cannot sit in condensate.

Design the mist path
Fine fog can condense quickly when it contacts cool walls or travels through long restrictive ducting. Provide smooth airflow, a return path for condensate and enough fan pressure for the actual duct system. Do not evaluate the atomizer only by the fog visible at the final outlet.
Plan for cleaning and replacement
The module and float should be removable. A service technician should be able to inspect the disc surface, clean the tank and disconnect the module without cutting wires or removing the whole machine. This directly affects warranty cost and customer satisfaction.

- Stable water depth from empty start to continuous operation.
- Even mist from all heads.
- Supply voltage remains within range under load.
- No water reaches electrical connectors.
- Condensate returns or drains safely.
- The module can be removed and reinstalled without special tools.
- Humidity or fog output can be controlled without rapid cycling.
Frequently asked questions
Can one power supply run several modules?
Only when the supply and wiring are designed for the combined load. Separate matched supplies are often simpler and improve serviceability.
Can the module be switched by a humidity controller?
Yes, but the switching method and cycle frequency should suit the driver. Avoid very rapid on/off cycling.
Do you provide the complete control box?
Module projects can be supplied with matched power supplies and optional level-control components. The final control architecture depends on the OEM machine.

A prototype tested with clean laboratory water and an open tank may behave differently after it is enclosed, connected to a duct and operated with local tap water. Use the intended fan, tank, water source and control sequence as early as possible.
Define interfaces before tooling
Confirm mounting dimensions, cable routing, connector access, inlet, overflow, drain and module removal clearance before the enclosure is frozen. Small interface changes are inexpensive during prototype work and difficult after molds or sheet-metal tooling are complete.

Freeze an approved bill of materials
Once the sample is accepted, keep the module, driver and critical water-level parts as one approved set. Substituting a power supply or float only because the dimensions look similar can change output and reliability.
